We have used various printers in the past and have no agreement in place with a single printer. Criteria for printers are price, quality, turn around time and ease of shipping.
Our ambition is to launch the INNOVATE Series in 5-10% of the top cities around the world within the next 5 years. With 10,000 cities this gives us a lot of opportunity.
We are always looking for opportunities, should you know of any possible partners and/or sponsors please let us know.
Industry books are fast becoming a strong pillar of the INNOVATE Series – largely driven by market dynamics and needs, but we’re always open to investigating the viability of any suggested initiatives.
There are varying criteria to measure success. Our single biggest print order has been 5,000 books in Oeiras, Portugal. The AI Quebec book received exceptional feedback and has been used by the Quebec Government as a showpiece for innovation in the province. Many of the US and Canadian books have achieved good profitability. Tampa Bay has already produced 3 volumes.
There are 4 key stages to producing a book. The first is launching and identifying participants for inclusion. Second is the onboarding of participants and confirming book sales. Third is the production and design of the artwork and preparing the book for print. The last stage is the printing and shipping.
It is important that the Global Village Publishing CRM system is utilized, this ensures a seamless process and maintains the quality we are used to delivering. If you have any suggested suppliers or resources that you would like to propose please let us know.
